Get a coach who listens to you and optimises your presentations
A new day, a new Teams feature. In this post, I’ll introduce you to the Speaker Coach. This digital coach offers feedback about your speaking or presenting skills, in real time as well as after the presentation.
How do you activate the Teams ‘Speaker Coach’?
There are two ways to enable this feature.
The first one is through Teams. Click the three-dot icon at the top of the window during a meeting and select ‘Turn on Speaker Coach’.
The second way to enable the ‘Speaker Coach‘ is through PowerPoint Live. While you’re sharing your screen through this functionality, you can simply click the icon at the bottom of the current slide.
You don’t see the option in Teams yet? No worries – the button will be added in one of the next updates.
After you’ve used the Coach for the first time, you can enable or disable them for every meeting through the coach report you get at the end of a meeting.
Watch the video below to see how the Speaker Coach option works.
When does the Teams Speaker Coach not work?
You can’t enable the Speaker Coach functionality when you start a meeting in a Teams channel or when you use the ‘Meet now’ button in a channel.
‘Speaker Coach‘ is currently only available in English. We hope more languages will be added soon.
