How to manage questions and answers effortlessly.

When you organise a Teams meeting, there are plenty of options you can use to turn on the features you need. One of these is the Q&A, a very useful feature which lets you gather, structure and manage questions and answers during your meeting.

How does Q&A work?

When you create a Teams meeting in Outlook, you can turn on the Q&A option under ‘Meeting Options’:

TIP: Do you want your participants to only ask questions through Q&A instead of meeting chat? Toggle the ‘Allow meeting chat’ option to ‘Disabled’.

Managing Q&A during the meeting,

you’ll see the Q&A icon at the top of your window:

Click the icon to start a discussion or ask a question. In the example above, I’m asking the participants what they think of the session. When I click ‘Post’, they’ll instantly see my question.

Participants can comment or use emojis to react.

When a participant asks a question, it’ll appear in the meeting organiser’s ‘In Review’ pane. You can then decide to either post or dismiss the question.
