Leading European HR service provider SD Worx was looking to switch from Skype for Business to Teams telephony – and who would be better suited to guide them through this change than Xylos’s experienced training team?
Xylos developed a Teams telephony training programme for 1000 employees who were spread across several countries. The short-but-sweet remote training sessions took place in multiple languages (Dutch, French, German and English) and focused on improving efficiency. Users learned all about lesser known calling features in Teams, such as advanced voicemail settings, transfer options and group calls.
Xylos’s trainers worked closely with SD Worx’s IT and training managers to map out the content. The training sessions were hosted in the SD Worx environment to give participants a sense of familiarity.
SD Worx also had Xylos take care of the administration and management of the training programme. Our project coordinators set up an online portal where employees could see and sign up for all available trainings. Through this portal, they could also cancel or reschedule bookings. And the system automatically hid booked-out sessions so they wouldn’t appear in the overview. SD Worx had access to the booking portal in order to keep track of everything and create reports about all trainings.
Two weeks before each training session, an automatic workflow was triggered to send all participants and the trainer an Outlook invitation with a link to the Teams session.
Xylos organised a total of about 50 trainings for 20 to 25 participants each.
“Our collaboration with Xylos went very smoothy. Communication between the project team and the trainers was outstanding. We’re very happy with how this project was handled”, says Christophe Duez, Product Manager Workplace Services at SD Worx.
